“Human nature good or evil”definitely the human nature.
The human nature is defined by people’s hand. I think the evil means monster and they can always to scare and hurt other people. In the “Human nature good or evil” Prretty,Roy W. have a good explain of the definition of human.
According to Perrett,Roy W. “ One familiar philosophical use of the term 'evil' just contrasts it with 'good', i.e., something is an evil if is a bad thing, one of life's "minuses." This is the sense of 'evil' that is used in posing the traditional theological problem of evil, though it is customary there to distinguish between moral evils and natural evils. Moral evils are those bad things (like war and crimes) that are caused by moral agents; natural evils are those bad things (like earthquakes and disease) that are not caused by moral agents. Since the existence of evils of both sorts is usually taken to be indubitable, the problem of evil is then construed as the problem of how to square their existence with the existence of an all-powerful and benevolent God Ordinary English usage, however, tends to reserve the term 'evil' for what is morally sinister. Moreover, even the ready admission that there are moral evils in the sense distinguished above (i.e., bad things caused by moral agents) does not quite seem to capture what many people have in mind when they talk of evil. Evil is instead often understood to be a very special moral category: it involves not just wrongdoing, but a special kind of intentional wrongdoing in which at least the following four features need to be present. Firstly, in order to be evil the wrongdoing must flow from a particular kind of character. Secondly, the wrongdoing must be motivated in a particular way: it must be a wrongdoing which is done because it is wrong. Thirdly, the agent will take pleasure in the wrongness of the action. Finally, the agent will fail to exhibit the morally appropriate reactive attitudes (guilt, shame, regret, etc.) to her wrongdoing.”
We should think about where the evil come from. In my opinion, Everybody is goodness. No one is bad when they are borned. So i think the important reason is the evil made by society and release of human nature. We called that is minuses of morality.
“THE SINISTER REGEN”
The special ability, power and enough benefit always can push people to be a evil or monster.
According to Kirkus Reviews “Princess Jesireen's parents, King Willem and Queen Eris of East Waveborn, and her older sister, Princess Alex, have been called away, leaving Jes in the care of a stranger called Lady Umber. If "anything comes up" while the king and queen are away, this stern, sharp-featured women will rule as regent. When Jes discovers Lady Umber's plot to assassinate the royal family, the intrepid 9-year-old springs into action. She can't allow this evil woman to control her country”
We always had read some book is discuss about the fight of power. So i want put this part in the Battle through the heaven. When people are getting special ability, i think the most of us gonna use it to get the some stuff the thing is we never had.
“The bad news on human nature, in 10 findings from psychology”
According to Pam Weintraub “We experience Schadenfreude (pleasure at another person’s distress) by the age of four, according to a study from 2013. That sense is heightened if the child perceives that the person deserves the distress. A more recent study found that, by age six, children will pay to watch an antisocial puppet being hit, rather than spending the money on stickers.”
When I saw this I can’t describe my emotion. Because it is a little bit to scare for me. I use a part of the 10 things.
“Are We Fundamentally Good or Evil? Neuroscience Has an Answer”Nicola Brown
What underlies every box office hit, bestselling novel, and most compelling video games? A fight between good and evil, of course. The argument over whether humans are fundamentally good or evil has been raging on in earnest since 17th and 18th-century philosophers Hobbes and Rousseau put forward opposite theories of human nature and morality. Hobbes believed the natural state of man was “solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short,” while Rousseau believed we are all born good, it is civilization that turns us evil. While it’s generally acknowledged today that the answer must lie somewhere in between, neuroscience points to some interesting mechanisms of the brain that give rise to our behaviors, everything from helping someone in need to committing acts of violence. The insights have important implications for content marketers, creative professionals, and understanding the potential effectiveness of well-designed cause marketing programs. How can marketers and creatives tap into our altruistic side to build a strong content strategy? To understand that we need to look at how empathy and altruism work in the brain.
That is what i think. Good or bad is a choices for people. If you can control your desire and want be good for others. Then you will to be a good person. But in the society, always have a lot of reason to make people go crazy and greed. So we can’t put the all responsibility in one person. The society is reality cruelty.
“Good Or Evil?”
What is Human Nature?
See Human Nature for a summary of what we believe human nature is like, and Human Origins and Original Sin for how we got that way. Humans are cooperative and competitive, peace-loving and violent, friendly and suspicious, and all for reasons that make sense from an evolutionary perspective. Human behavior can be understood as Adaptive Behavior, but it is common for the connection to reproductive success to be somewhat subtle. This is partly because complex and overtly pointless behavior (like a symphony orchestra) is a hard-to-fake signal of individual fitness in competition for mates and social status.
The rule of morality is made by human’s hand. But the same time, we are always break that rules. In the real world. A lots of people use power and money to do some stuff is violate the morality. I think it is happened everyday and everywhere. So, in my opinion when people have special ability, power and money. When they feel strong enough or propel of enough benefit. They might going to break the “morality” to be “bad or evil” for satisfy the desire of human nature.
“Human nature matters”Edited by Nigel Warburton
The existence of something like a human nature that separates us from the rest of the animal world has often been implied, and sometimes explicitly stated, throughout the history of philosophy. Aristotle thought that the ‘proper function’ of human beings was to think rationally, from which he derived the idea that the highest life available to us is one of contemplation (ie, philosophising) – hardly unexpected from a philosopher. The Epicureans argued that it is a quintessential aspect of human nature that we are happier when we experience pleasure, and especially when we do not experience pain. Thomas Hobbes believed that we need a strong centralised government to keep us in line because our nature would otherwise lead us to live a life that he memorably characterised as ‘solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short’. Jean-Jacques Rousseau embedded the idea of a human nature in his conception of the ‘noble savage’. Confucius and Mencius thought that human nature is essentially good, while Hsün Tzu considered it essentially evil.
This source said the truth about the human nature when human live in ancient time might be able to get real equality and harmonious.
